Wildlife Photography

Wildlife photography is more than simply pointing a camera at animals—it is an art form that combines patience, skill, and deep understanding of the natural world. Our wildlife photography program is designed to immerse participants in this craft, guiding them beyond the basics into the heart of what makes a compelling image.

Learn animal behaviour, using natural light & storytelling

At the core of wildlife photography is the study of animal behaviour. To anticipate the decisive moment, one must first learn how wildlife behaves, moves, feeds, and interacts with other species. A great wildlife photograph is rarely an accident—it is the reward for patience and observation.

The sun is our primary source of light; therefore, understanding how to utilise natural light is equally important. From the soft glow of dawn to the dramatic silhouettes at sunset, light shapes every mood and emotion in an image. We teach how to use shifting conditions to transform a simple encounter into a striking composition.

And above all, photography is about storytelling. Sometimes a single frame captures an entire narrative—the tension of a predator’s gaze, the tenderness of a leopard with her cub. Other times, a sequence of images builds a richer story, revealing layers of behaviour and connection among different species.

Through this program, participants will not only learn to frame wildlife correctly, but they will also learn to craft stories that resonate, inspire, and represent a subject they care about. Join us for an intense dive into Wildlife Photography.
